In this article, I will share my traveling experience in Delta one going from Detroit to Amsterdam on the Airbus A-330.
I booked my tickets around 7 weeks prior to the departure on a great deal from Delta Airlines Customer Service.
On-ground Experience:
It was a long flight of about 7 hours and the first thing I did was visiting the sky club lounge. On Detroit Airport there were three Sky Club lounges, but I selected one which was near to my entry gate.
There was a salad section, a buffet section for meals, and for dessert, they had some brownies and cookies. As a Delta one traveler with priority boarding, I went into the flight smoothly.
I pre-selected a window seat for me by calling Delta Airlines Phone Number in advance.
In-flight Experience:
Delta one cabin had a 1x1 seat configuration with 19.7 inches of width and 80 inches of pitch.
The legroom was good but the full well seemed a bit narrow.
Check-out the aisle side retractable armrests in the IFE controller.
Seat controls are located directly next to the IFB screen.
The IFE screen is initially stowed but can be opened with the button that's located directly above the seat controls.
I was served with welcome drinks from the dedicated flight attendant.
I got the pillow and a blanket which were really comfortable and helped me to sleep easily during the journey.
Delta features a noise-canceling headset and noise-canceling qualities were good.
The meal service began pretty quickly after takeoff and I peruse the menu.
I got a variety of wines with nuts as a snack and I enjoyed that a lot.
In my starter, I got the butternut squash soup with the looks of well presented Delta did a good job on the portion size so it was not too much for when I got to my main course.
For my main course, I got the pan-fried chicken and the plating was looking spectacular. The chicken itself was juicy and well-seasoned.
It was quite enjoyable for dessert they brought it down on the cart.
I enjoyed a couple of music videos and a few TV shows before sleeping on the IVF screen.
In the next morning the breakfast I had the truffle week and mushroom frittata
Conclusion:
I found the Delta One cabins were more comfortable with flatbed seats.
The food menu, snacks, and beverages on the flight were amazing.
